Last week we saw e-commerce companies growing at 59%/77% rate (revenue/orders) while retailers scored 66%/83% (revenue/orders) during the same time frame. This could indicate that rapid and massive efforts of retail businesses to shift their operations online as well as aggressive promotional campaigns started to pay off. We wouldn’t be surprised if we saw even higher growth numbers down the road as traditional retailers adopt more digital strategies and reallocate their resources to online channels.
