With lockdowns starting to ease in most countries, and with the weather getting warmer, it’s interesting to see some outdoor products — like roller skates and basketball shoes — creeping into the top 10 list of highest-performing products.
(Growing up, we weren’t allowed to play football, product #2, inside the house, but clearly people either have big yards or kinder parents!)
Keep an eye on this trend as we move further into the summer. Expect consumers to continue buying products that enhance their outdoor activities and social gatherings, particularly as social distancing guidelines are eased even further, and we transition into a “new normal.”
